Ahh, interesting, thanks Cotty. Perhaps it's common to
some DSLRs.

As I mentioned before, it's unusual but it doesn't
seem to affect the operation of the camera in any way.
So, I'm not going to sweat it.

It only moves in the one plane; moving the camera
forward and back it's nice and solid, only rotating it
on the axis of the lens do I feel it.
