My K10D is making a horrible raspy/staticy noise whenever the shutter is open. It's very quiet, I can't hear it unless I put my camera to my ear, but I'm a little bit worried. I thought it was the Shake Reduction but it is the same with SR on or off.
Could someone with a K10D check and see if theirs does too or if it's just my unit? Set an exposure of 10 seconds or so, put the camera to your ear, and trip the shutter; on mine I hear the loud mirror release & aperture closing, shutter release, then a horrible staticy noise, then shutter close. No noise during the noise reduction exposure, so it's not the CCD or related systems. No noise during DOF preview either so it's not the aperture mechanism. Changing lenses, shutter speed, SR doesn't seem to make any difference. I'll probably call Pentax on Monday either way but I'd love to know if it's just me or not. Could be perfectly normal, but...
