Here's a few shots taken yesterday and today with the K10D. http://www.members.aol.com/bmacrae/index.htm
All of these were shot in RAW. Some converted to DNG in the Pentax software, some in the camera. I used the AF-540FGZ flash for nearly all of them (and all were bounced 90 degrees off the ceiling with the catch panel up). ISO was mostly set to 400, but there are a couple of ISO 800's and the one of the twins lying together asleep was ISO 1600. Some of the shots used flash exposure comp. on the flash which, in combination with this camera, is a dream. The images have not be tweaked except to crop, resize and apply some curves in PSCS2 then converted to .jpg. This is the first DSLR I've owned so it's all new to me. I have to say I love the camera so far. The menus are a complete no brainer. The camera feels good in my hands. I like a bigger camera and have always felt most of Pentax's cameras are too small for my hands. I used only my existing lenses. I bought the camera w/the Extreme III card from B&H as I felt I wouldn't use the kit lens very often. So, these images were shot using the FA31mm LTD, the A*85mm f1.4, the FA24-90mm zoom, the A50f1.4 and the A20mm f2.8. All worked terrific with the camera (what a joy!). The auto focus is great and focusing manually was also a snap. I like the EV +/- button and adjustment with the e-dial. I changed mine in the Custom settings to put the Aperture control on the front e-dial and the EV adjustment in back (in Av mode). Seems a little easier for me. -Brendan ____________________________________________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo!
