There were rumours that a "two-figure number" of K10D had been shipped to a few German dealers and there wouldn't be any further shipments before January. Since we're planning a trip to Boulogne later next month, I phoned a good dozen camera shops in the area and, lo and behold, one dealer in the Ruhr area still had a few.
I'll spare you the grizzly details of three hours spent standing on a packed trains. Should have known better than to use public transport on the first weekend of the national xmas shopping craze.
