Opening today. No bubbles, but I did not really expecting any.

It was crowded, much more people than I expected. My pictures did not hang
very well. They where in a cupboard sized hall. The background was a black,
and a red piece of clothing. On of the managers of the festival, a guy who
works at the local photo store, had done the printing and framing. Bad
contrast and way too tight framing :-(
Next time, I'll insist on doing it myself. Printing, framing and display,
the whole lot.

Never the less, I still feel pretty cool :-)

The rest of the show was mostly paintings. But there where some other
photographs too. Two event photographers, and one "photography as art"
photographer. The latter one is pretty good. He makes his own pinholes and
does other experiments. He is definitely cool. One of his sites is here

Subject: I feel cool today

You may remember that I told about my first public showing? It was some rock
festival images showed at a hotel.

I just got a phone from one of those who work with the festival. She asked
if they could display the images in a local but pretty proper gallery. They
invited me to attend the opening. I don't know if there will be any bubbles
there, but still.

How cool is that?
