The gmail paradigm is a bit different. There isn't a concept of "folders" like in Thunderbird and most other email clients. You can set up a filter that will apply a "label" to a message if it matches the filter. And then, you can display only messages that have that particular label. I have a filter set up to apply the label "Pentax" to all of the PDML messages coming in. And when I have time to read PDML, I just have to show all messages with the "Pentax" label, and I can read them. The other thing I like about gmail is that it groups all messages in a particular thread together, which makes it MUCH easier for me to read and follow a discussion. There is a threaded view in Thunderbird that'll sort messages similarly, but it looks a bit different. > Thanks - you probably pointed me to the solution.
