Thanks Paul, Rob, and to all others who replied - it
sounds like the full functionality of ACR remains in
place with DNG, which is what I was wondering about.
Since adopting ACR with the *ist-D a while back my
digital workflow completely changed, with almost all
of the basic post exposure processing being done in
ACR.
