I'll jump in here, the 16-45/4 is the only zoom I own, it's better than the FA24/2 at 24mm I'm sure but I have similar reservations to Shel. When it comes to build there is no comparison with any decent prime or older zoom. The last great zoom lens I owned was the A35-105/3.5, scans from shots made using it on K25 and K64 are quite amazing considering its age. Its build was superb though it was large and heavy. The 16-45/4 feels light and cheap and the extended barrel wobbles about more than any lens I think I've owned. I don't shoot with it much but have elected to keep it for the mean time. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
