On the first shots I showed from the walk, I did use a bit of curves.
On the last two, I did not do anything but straight convert to jpg.

The first three shots while walking were center weighted.  The girl
with the helmet was multi-segment and the boy was center weighted.

My normal settings are manual focus, manual exposure (using
HyperManual), Center weighted metering.
