A few days ago I mentioned that one of the photo books I own sells now for about 10 times what I paid for it (even unsigned). Just now I have found another. I bought a copy of James Nachtwey's "Deeds of War" a few years ago for not much money. I now see that it is marked up for over £270- on amazon.co.uk, and for over $130- on abebooks.com.
I also have a 1st edition of Vietnam, Inc., signed for me by Philip Jones Griffiths. Abebooks has a couple of signed 1st editions of this at $1,000- each. It's crazy. My books appear to be earning more than my house, which in turn earns more than I do. I'm going to have to get them insured separately at this rate. Strangely enough, you can buy Deeds of War on amazon.com for about $30-, so there's an instant profit that could be made! -- Regards, Bob -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
