This is the sort of thing I was hinting at with Paul the other day. Some pictures are deserving of the fine detail that only a big piece of film can deliver, this is one of them. This is why I am of the opinion that the smug statements such as "good photographers are good photographers regardless of technology" are somewhat less than truthful. They imply that the technology doesn't matter, when in fact, technology is what makes the photograph, and often, the technology just isn't up to the task.
