One (extremely busy) week ago we returned from a week
in Germany.  We spent a few days in Gottingen, an old
university town in the north-central part of the
country.

It was =cold=.  In front of the Rathaus (town hall) is
a statue of a girl with a goose, which someone had
decorated with flowers.  Our first morning there, the
flowers bore icicles:
