Thanks for the kind words, I havent been posting much as of late because I have been involved much more with LF in the last few years and I dont think its appropriate to post a lot of stuff about that here.
As far as the DSLRS go, I think the K100 is a steal and great deal for the price but I am disappointed in Pentax overall rescinding their long long time stance on backwards compatablity when possible and on the K10D , for ita price, I think the full K/M support should be offered but isnt. That doesnt mean I wont buy a DSLR from them ever, but I just don't feel as comfortable with the new Pentax as I did with the old Pentax with regards to product support/system issues. jco -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of K.Takeshita Sent: Saturday, November 11, 2006 2:33 PM To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Subject: Re: list abuse On 11/11/06 1:53 PM, "Tom C", <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I agree. Well, with the talks of banning him and so forth, I believe you good folks are going too far and too selfish. Give him a break. I do not agree with his abusive words but I have to agree that several people are deliberately trying to push his button to provoke him. His recent attitude does not seem to be a cause of the problem but rather a consequence of deliberate attack. JCO, AFAIK is one of the longest staying PDMLers here, far longer than the most people here. He has been somewhat quiet since the world suddenly shifted to digital, but I do not remember him being particularly abusive when he used to frequent here. With due respect to those who always engage with him, can you too stop provoking him, really? He was seriously considering to try Pentax DSLR but perhaps asked a wrong question and everybody jumped on him. He is swimming in the sea of legacy lenses and it was quite natural for him to want the aperture simulator. Lately, I could see he was trying to bring the civility back and very mindful in asking new questions, but as soon as he did that, same people jumped on him. Whether his contention is right or wrong, there must be better ways to discuss. I am not trying to be a good boy here, but it is really painful to see an individual being mob lynched. Please stop.
