In TTL mode. I recently disovered, that if I slide back the flash slightly - in the flash shoe - a couple of milimeters - I get P-TTL ! The flash will execute a pre-flash, leading to slightly better/more accurate exposueres! The first time I noticed this I didn't belaieve my own eyes. Now I have been testing it again and again. It really does pre-flash !!! Isn't this strange? Have anyone had similar experienses, using non P-TTL flashes on the *ist D ?
