The sensor dump is never "straight off the sensor" because it must at very least be quantized into a digital representation ... what comes off the sensor is an analog voltage. NR in the form of dark frame subtraction and exposure settings (ISO, aperture, exposure time) are the only things that affect the sensor data output to a RAW file.
