I use "stroke" all the time - I just did a print I wanted to frame with a bit of black line showing by enlarging the canvas size and using the paint bucket to get a much wider frame, most of which will hide behind the mat... and useful in case the mat cut isn't sized perfectly. Less expensive than a double mat, too :)
