The thread was about the market segment the K10D is aimed at. 
It took a u-turn into noise, a subtopic. 

As I read the translation, Hisashi Tatamiya said that we can expect much of
the camera, high resolution and sharpness.

A corollary to the corollary is that the level of complaining about
high-ISO noise bears little relation to the amount of shooting that the
complainers actually do at high ISO ;-)
