The 10D would do fine, I'd hesitate to try it woth the Drebel, even with 
a magnifier, the viewfinder is just too poor. I found the same issue 
with my D50 when I got some truly fast lenses (50/1.4 and 180/2.8), even 
with the DK-21M, it was not possible to focus accurately.
