You guys think I'm an enabler...
One of my regular customers just brought his fifteen-minute old MZ-S
(one of the two from Henry's in Oakville) to taunt me with, since I had
told him that morning as he picked up film that I had decided not to buy
one yet (and pick up lenses for my 67 instead).
Well well well! The MZ-S sure is a beauty to hold. And in person it
isn't anywhere near as ugly as it looks in pictures. And I was quite
impressed by the viewfinder! I did a quick comparison with my LX (FA1
finder, Beattie grid screen), and while the magnification isn't nearly
as high as the LX, the image is quite clean and clear and easy to focus.
Comparing brightness, I'd say they're pretty close to each other,
though I didn't have a ton of time to compare.
The camera was nice and light, and well sized for my hands, but had a
good, sturdy feel to it, much better than the other MZ-series cameras
I've held.
Okay, enough of this. I'm still buying 67 glass with my money.
Back to installing Silverfast...
