Godfrey, I don't recall ever saying anything to insult you.

Are you looking to start a fight here? I don't know how else to 
interpret your aggressive post.

In fact (with two small exceptions), I have had nothing but praise for 
the DA and D FA lenses I have acquired, including the following: DA 
10-17, DA 14, DA 16-45, DA 21, DA 40, D FA 50. My only complaints have 
been: (a) I don't like the extending barrel of the DA 16-45 at the wide 
end, and (b) I was off by the physical design of the D FA 50. But I 
accepted both for the optical quality of these lenses.

So perhaps you should get the facts straight before attacking someone.
