If build quality is the same as Pentax, I probably never need service and warranty. If I do need it: in europe the reseller handles warranty. If Samsung=Pentax, I want to keep it forever ;)
I won't touch Samsung DSLR's. Probably the pentax firmware doesn't work in Samsung which could be a major problem.
