I took the opportunity to follow up on this today.
Four new images up at my PESO gallery, two of them as
another go at the initial one (which is still up there as well) ...

A major change was using available light only, a tripod
and the D-FA 100mm as well as A* 200mm macro ...
My personal favourite of these is 'Fungi in pink'
