He won't need a circular polarizer with the 6x7. However, the 55/3.5 
isn't the first choice in 55mm 6x7 lenses. The 55/4 that has the 
typographical ID imprinted on the flared end of the focusing barrel 
like an A lens is generally considered the best of the 55s.
