Correction, graywolf, I do have the .Net Passport connected to my main user account. But like I said, .Net Framework will run without it.
I seriously doubt, in other words, that that is your problem. Look in your user accounts and see if a .Net Passport is even there. I suspect your problem actually may be that your computer is set up as a Server in a network.
