I used Panorama Maker 3 quite frequently at my previous job, not only for stitching panoramas, but for rebuilding images that I had to scan from large prints (that is, if I had to scan a photo bigger than 8x12, I'd scan it in pieces and then rebuild it with Panorama Maker). I really like that software, and it does a great job with seamless stitching about 95% of the time. For the price, it's a fantastic value. The only gripe I have with it is that it must be a serious memory hog, because it would frequently crash on me if I was trying to stitch too many high-resolution panels together. For instance, if I had scanned a large print and needed to rebuild it, the dpi of each panel could usually be no more than 400-500 dpi or the program would crash (I liked keeping the dpi high to make the "dust & scratches" filter in photoshop less apparent when I made my final print). ArcSoft came out with a patch for it, which helped a little, but it's still prone to crashing. However, if you're stitching digital photos, it's pretty rare for it to crash at all, and it almost always does a great job. John Celio -- http://www.neovenator.com AIM: Neopifex "Hey, I'm an artist.
