So, any suggestions for finding people that "look the part" and finding
interesting indoor locations for a variety of settings, like motel rooms,
stairways, basements, etc. Of course, outdoor locations would be
appropriate at times as well, but it seems that they are easier to find.
Has anyone here done this sort of thing before?

I've thought about doing this, Shel, and am still thinking about doing it.
But in my case all my shots would be set up probably indoors.

Berkeley is right there, art classes at CAL, art classes at College of Fine
Arts, Oakland. Nude models, female and male. Used to posing for nude drawing
classes (and sometimes for drawing classes with clothes on). Able to hold a
pose
for a while and unselfconscious. And I am sure any nude models would pose
with clothes on as well. You have to pay them, of course. Just visit any art
store, they have bulletin boards with 3x5 card from models. Or contact the
colleges and ask them where they get their models. Wouldn't be cheap though,
but if
one agrees to only pose for an hour (unsure if they have a minim time limit),
maybe worth it. Or even a one day shoot may be worth it.

For cheap -- only one thing I can think of, teach a photography class
somewhere and get your students to model. Make clear from the beginning they
will be
required to.
