I think its wrong to assume that it "never" will be a PENTAX
Or any other brand DSLR. "Never" is a strong word ....

You're choice is either to use them fully, as originally designed, on
legacy 
bodies, or to still use them, albeit in a different way on the new DSLR 
bodies. This has been said already.

No amount of complaining is going to change that.  I suspect you will
likely 
never have an aperture simulator in a Pentax DSLR. Therfore your choices
are 
narrowed down to this... 1) continue using the lenses with older film 
bodies, 2) use them on a new DLSR body accepting the limitations of said

usage, 3) don't use them at all anymore.
