OLD IS IRRELAVANT.
How many fricking times till you get this.
There is nothing preventing K/M support
On these DSLR cameras except the "$5 part".
NO NEW ( or improved ) MOUNT, even today in
2006 has caused the need for removal of K/M 
aperture cam sensor ( K/M support).

Its really dumb to say that because its OLD
It shouldn't be supported because the mount
Is still the same, i.e. the MOUNT is old too.

Stupid economics for people who have bought a bunch of old lenses.
Not so stupid for a company that is in the business of selling new 
equipment, especially new lenses.
