And, of course, the *ist-D was a current camera at the time.
After all, it would be "only a firmware fix" to make "P" mode on the
D operate as program shift on the front dial, exposure compensation on
the rear dial - a style which will supposedly be available on the K10D.
Of course this would mean giving up Hyper Program.
