I'm seriously considering going from RSP to Lightroom. If (or most likely when) I take the leap to K10D I'll be forced find and learn a new tool for converting my raw files. I already have Elements 3, so ACR is the most obvious solution, but I never liked the user interface, that's my main reason to buy RSP. So I don't think it's an option after all ;-)
I've downloaded and tested Lightroom, and judging from my first impression me and Lightroom could get along well. So, to a bit in front of the evolution I'm considering to read a book or two about Lightroom. A quick search on Amazon gave me seven hits http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-3057126-2440036?url=search-alias%3Daps& field-keywords=%22adobe+lightroom%22&Go.x=10&Go.y=9&Go=Go http://tinyurl.com/ounzw There may be others too. So what book(s) does the list recommend? And don't worry Bruce Fraser is at my read list ;-) Tim Mostly harmless (just plain Norwegian) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
