Paul, The fact it needed to be upgraded to work with a new camera using the exact same protocol says all it needs to about the Sigma. It's not in spec for P-TTL (If it was, you wouldn't need to get it upgraded).
-Adam ----- This I find puzzling. Why does it need to be "upgraded"? Promaster has an interesting macro flash, with modules for Pentax DSLRs (so it is claimed). But the module for the *ist D is different from the module for the DS and DL. Why? Makes me hesitate to buy one. Will I need yet another module for the K10D? And the camera after that? Joe P.S.
