Hi Doug,

Is the polarizer a linear or circular polarizer? If it's a linear
polarizer, it's possible that it could be throwing off the metering in
the camera. I just invested in a couple of circular polarizers to
replace the linear polarizers I was using before I got my *istDS2. I
can try out a linear polarizer on my Sigma 400/5.6 tomorrow and see if
it makes a noticeable difference in the metering.
