I'm late into this debate, so most has been said already. I agree with those who emphasize the diversity of muslims as a group, and that there may have been personal reasons for the lady in question to dislike her picture taken.
At the moment I think also that many european muslims feel a bit stigmatised by the actions from extremists of their faith. If I was in their situation, I think it would amplify my dislike of having a camera pointed in my direction.
