I only said that Limited _seems_ to mean pancake. Looking at the new DA Limiteds, they are all pancakes. But this does not mean that this has to be the case in future.
I don't know for a fact that a 31 f:1,8 wouldn't do. I've never tried it. But I have shot with a Vivitar 28 f:2. Without SR the pictures came out blurred with 800 ASA Ectachrome. With SR and one third step faster, I really don't know. SR doesnt stop moving subjects.
