        Absolutely.  The individual charginging and information the BC-900 
gives me really lets me keep cells matched together.  Don't need to worry 
about topping them off either.... if they don't need much, they don't take 
much.

        I really abhor the rampant proliferation of Li-ion proprietary 
batteries.  Yes they have higher energy density than Ni-MH AA's and have a 
lower self-discharge.  They also start the 3-year death cycle as soon as 
they're manufactured... whether they're used or not, they're shot after 3 
years.  Also, by the time you have to haul a separate charger around for 
*every* gizmo that has a proprietary battery, the effective energy density 
while traveling is lower.

        Me too.  It seems like a great compromise... use either an 
AA-form-factor-compatible proprietary Li-ion, the rechargable CRV 
whatevers, or standard AA's.  Then everyone is happy.
