Thanks Cotty,

I am saddened by the events of that day and the humanity they robbed us of.

I'm sad for the innocents who were killed, for the Fire and Police
men/women who died trying to save them, for the spouses and children
who have lost a companion or a parent to guide them, and for the New
Yorkers who now suffer or will suffer from lung disease after inhaling
the dusty remains.

I'm sad for the level of barbarity this event has introduced to our
'civilized' world. What has followed in Afganistan and Iraq is
clearly related to this day. Our world is not a more humane place to
live. Witness the bombings in London and Madrid.

Regards, Bob S.
