Congrats, Mike. It's a very fine lens. You'll love it.

BTW: We don't call a 50mm or a 77mm lens a zoom. Those a primes.
A zoom lens is a lens with variable focal length. Your Sigma 70-300mm is a
zoom lens.

I placed an order yesterday for the FA77 ltd, which pretty well completes
my kit of lenses!

I shoot 35mm and digital, so I've tried to stick with FA/A lenses.

wide: Zenitar 16 fisheye (hasn't seen much use on my DS)
wide: FA20-35 f/4
normal: A28 f/2.8
short zoom/portrait: A50 f/1.7
short zoom/portrait FA77 f/1.8

I don't typically use longer than that, but I also have a cheap (but
free!) JC Penney 135/2.8 and a Sigma 70-300 (slow 4-5.6) zoom for the
occaision where I want length. I also replaced my focussing screen with a
Katz-Eye screen for better manual focus.

I can't wait for the 77 to arrive! :)

Mike
