I have the 70-210 and the 16-45, but cannot comment on the 35-105 as i  
have never owned one.

The latter two are good lenses, but i find when i use the 70-210, its  
best on a tripod, as i keep moving the focus knob.
Still have not foqured out were the adjust screws are.:-)
16-45 is always on the istD.
