I like the concept. It needs some development ... a more 'square' crop, taking off from either left or right to reduce the view down to the circles and shapes of wheel and chain ring, or bent vs whole. The tonalities look fine on my laptop screen, but a little vignetting to model the light and give it some dimensionality would add to it.
