Sorry. I mis-read the post. I am sure that at the very least they will work as MF lenses because there is no reason for them not to - unless a manual focus ring is left off the lens, which seems extremely improbable.
But I would guess that those who can afford a USM lens would also be able to afford a USM-capable body - at least by next year when the K100D is updated.
