Not sure what your point is.  Obviously, to have USM, one will need to buy  
a USM lens.  That is not a huge surprise.

Your suggestion that the new camera will only work with USM lenses is, of  
course, a pathetic attempt by a Canon mole to spread FUD.  :-)

I think it is generally acknowledged that Pentax AF is not competitive  
when it comes to dealing with very long lenses, and people who shoot birds  
will no doubt be happy to shell out for faster AF.  But for the vast  
majority of users, I doubt if there will be a rush to ditch all the old  
glass, and I also doubt if Pentax will be in a hurry to introduce many new  
USM lenses under 200mm.
