The current Pentax AF lenses come in at least three flavours. In its
simplest form, the camera needs to be switched to manual focus, and
then "tweak".

With FA* lenses, all you have to do is pull the focus ring towards the
camera house. A small, audible click, and you have manual focus. Move
it back, and AF engages.

With the newer lenses, like the DA series, you can touch-up the focus
without disengaging anything, or pressing any buttons at all.
