Oh, well, all of the old Bolex lenses are marked Kern-Paillard Switzerland so my assumption is that it was one compay. Interesting, I've never seen those binos. Those must be very nice. I have an old pair of Asahi Optical Co. binoculars that have a case stamped Made in Occupied Japan. They are amazing strong for their tiny size.
