Picked up, what i hope is, a good used D1H. I should have bought one years ago, instead of the D2H, but at the time i thought it was a waste just for ev in 1/3 and a bit better screen. However additional research AFTER i bouth the d2 indicated a major advancement in colour and noise over the D1 and fixed the magenbta cast from the D1.
As mentioned i always liked what i got from the D1 so hopefully this will work out and the D2 will go. I will mis the raw/jpeg mode, but i have that in the D200.
