My favorite was a Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta A (6x4.5cm version). Some  
made in the 1949-1951 time period had a superb coated Schneider lens.  
Second favorite was a Super Ikonta B (6x6) ... a bit larger than the  
A but more durable. The pre-war uncoated Tessar was excellent, post  
war coated lenses were all excellent.

Another one that's worth looking for is a Balda Six. Diminutive,  
sharp lens, very nicely finished.
