The grip wasn't as good as the DS or the Nikons. But the issue that made 
me get rid of it was the buffer size and write speeds. Just too slow. It 
had been a tossup for me between the D and the DS, I got the D for the 
dual-wheel interface, PC Sync and grip. I should have bought the DS, 
which I likely wouldn't have sold. PC Sync and the grip are minor issues 
and it turned out that I dislike dual-wheel interfaces.
