Hi, I have Minolta Dual Scan IV as well and am satisfied with it. It is a good scanner, especially for the price. I can recommend it for all but one: mine refuses to autofocus or manual focus. The focus on the scans seems fine, although I'm not sure if it is the best I can get.
I'd use the opportunity and ask if anybody has similar experience or knows what it is about or it simply needs a service. After the refusal of focusing the message pops up saying "Error = 1.
