No, no, that's not right.  It's the door for the SD card.  It's
multilayered and requires two keys to beinserted simultaneously while
pushing the shutter release and looking through the viewfinder for a
retina scan.  This guarantees that you can't change the card in less
than three minutes.  Once you do swap out the card you have to power
the camera off, remove the lens, put it back on, power up the camera,
and then push up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-start.  If you
don't, the meter won't work.
