Uneven mats don't bother me. Sometimes I prefer them. Precut mats are now
widely available in sizes that fit the digital frame. I mount most of my full
-frame digital pics with 11 x 17 mats, which are now widely available. In a 16
x 24 frame, the mat area is uneven but the results are attractive to my eye.
