Nikon and Pentax are also the only two makers making dslr's in the D50/K110D price range. And both units outperform the third camera that's vaguely in that price-range, the Olympus E-500, despite it being an 8MP model. The 8MP Rebel XT is notably more money, as are the 10MP units from Sony and Nikon (And Pentax, when released).
